Technology is constantly
changing and it is hard to keep up with everything. When I find out about updates or interesting information I think would be helpful fo you, I always try to share.
A few tidbits of information I found that I think will be of interest:
In the last two weeks, over 50,000 WordPress websites have been hacked due to a major security vulnerability that was discovered in the WordPress REST API.
They silently fixed the issue and pushed out WordPress 4.7.2 update.
If you haven’t updated your WordPress site, now is the time to do so.
With this vulnerability, anyone on the internet can deface your website without having the login access. So it is serious!
Go ahead and update your sites to WordPress 4.7.2 now.
If you haven’t changed the copyright dates on your website and email footers from 2016 to 2017 now is the time to do it. Those changes do not happen automatically.
