Technology is constantly changing and it is hard to keep up with everything.  When I find out about updates or interesting information I think would be helpful fo you, I always try to share.

A few tidbits of information I found that I think will be of interest:

1. If you are selling something, even your own product, according to the FTC guidelines, you have to include a disclosure on your page.   Now this disclosure has to be legible and has to appear before affiliate links.   You cannot wait till the very end of the page and place the disclosure statement.Readers should see it before they get to your affiliate links in the post.Here is another tip in regard to your disclosure statement….create an image with your disclosure information and use the image in all your posts.This way you don’t have to type it over and over and the words on
   the image are not picked up for social sharing on Facebook, etc.

2. Sometimes you need a legal form and don’t actually need or want to visit a lawyer. A great website for FREE legal forms is http://Avvo.com/legal-forms.  They have instructions for durable power of attorney, prenups, promissory notes, leases, resignation letters and other documents.  If you need legal advice you should, of course, contact a lawyer, but these forms will be very helpful.

3. Did you know…. using a mobile device before bedtime is associated with trouble falling asleep and staying asleep, as well as more daytime sleepiness? The light from tablets and phones can mess with circadian rhythms, making it harder for us to get a good night’s sleep.
