The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will hold Community Day for the first time this year. Community Day will be held Wednesday, March 8. Admission will be FREE for all guests until noon that day. Sponsor TC Energy Corp will donate $1 for every person who enters the grounds between 8AM and Noon.
Additional discounts will include buy-one, get-one rides, and games until 4 PM. There will also be some food and beverage deals until 4 PM.
This is the first time the Rodeo has offered FREE Admission to the entire community.
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is being held February 28, 2023 – March 1, 2023, at NRG Park. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo started in 1931.
Every year food vendors are awarded the best food as voted by the attendees. Holmes Smokehouse, a website design client of Upstream Marketing has taken home the price as one of the top RodeHouston foods for a number of years. Their pecan-smoked sausage on a stick is a must-try.
Each RodeoHouston performance begins with a rodeo competition, and once the dust settles, the entertainer takes the stage. Yes, Elvis Presley played the rodeo on March 3, 1974.
