With over four generations of experience in the smoked meats industry, the Holmes Smokehouse brand has a rich history and an intriguing story to tell.
Parent company Double R Brand Foods knew they needed a new website to tell the brand’s story, showcase their mouth-watering products, and help customers find Holmes Smokehouse products at local retailers. They were looking for a website that featured the visual aspects of the Holmes Smokehouse brand without sacrificing the functionality, usability, and practicality of the site as a whole.
The new Holmes Smokehouse website pays homage to the Holmes Smokehouse story while also being easy to navigate so website visitors can find the information they need right away.
Within the first few months post-launch, Holmes Smokehouse saw impressive improvements in user engagement and site performance.
The UpStream Marketing team won several design awards for HomlesSmokehouse.com:
Two Gold Awards from the American Advertising Federation (AAF), Houston Chapter.
The American Federation Advertising Awards Houston, which honors excellence in advertising, also recognized UpStream Marketing for their website development work on this project.
Our new website is attractive, easy to use, intuitively laid out, and responsive. It effectively communicates Holmes Smokehouse’s high-quality reputation and aligns with our brand positioning and packaging. We cannot express strongly enough how proud we are of our site and new business relationship with Upstream Marketing.
