With over four generations of experience in the smoked meats industry, the Holmes Smokehouse brand has a rich history and an intriguing story to tell.

Parent company Double R Brand Foods knew they needed a new website to tell the brand’s story, showcase their mouth-watering products, and help customers find Holmes Smokehouse products at local retailers. They were looking for a website that featured the visual aspects of the Holmes Smokehouse brand without sacrificing the functionality, usability, and practicality of the site as a whole.

UpStream Marketing worked with the team at Holmes Smokehouse to design and build a website that:

  • Told the Holmes Smokehouse story while also highlighting the brand’s commitment to food safety, animal care, energy conservation, and community
  • Featured mouthwatering custom photography thanks to a collaboration with Kolanowski Studios
  • Included clear communication and specific calls to action
  • Showcased the variety of Holmes Smokehouse products with detailed product information
  • Helped customers find Holmes Smokehouse products at nearby retailers
  • Functioned well on desktop and mobile devices

The new Holmes Smokehouse website pays homage to the Holmes Smokehouse story while also being easy to navigate so website visitors can find the information they need right away.

Within the first few months post-launch, Holmes Smokehouse saw impressive improvements in user engagement and site performance.
