Submit your site to Bing to significantly increase your SEO and help more visitors find your page. If you’re not familiar with Bing, it’s the search engine that feeds Yahoo, second only to Google. So making sure your site can be found on Bing will bring in visitors that don’t use Google.

It’s easy to manually submit your site to Bing if Bing hasn’t already picked you up. And, if your site is new, you’ve made substantial changes to it, or you have unindexed pages, manually submitting your site will have you at the top of Bing’s results sooner than just waiting for it to happen organically.

Submit Your Site to Bing in 5 Easy Steps

Bing allows you to submit up to 10,000 webpage URLs per day. And when you submit to Bing, you’re also submitting to Yahoo so there’s no need to do the work twice.

Here’s all you need to do:

1. Create an Account

Sign up or sign in to Bing’s Webmaster Tools account. If you don’t already have an account, it’s very easy to set one up. If you already have a Google Search Console account, Bing can pull your verification from there.

2. Select Website

Enter or select the appropriate website if you have more than one. If you’ve signed up using your Google Search Console, you’ll be able to select from the websites you’ve already set up there. If not, you’ll need to enter your website URL.

3. Configure

From the menu, select Configure My Site > Submit URLs.

4.  Enter URL

Type or paste in the URL you want to submit for indexing. If you want to submit more than one website or more than one page from your website, enter one URL per line.

5, Submit

Click Submit.

It may take a day or two for your website to be indexed and the search engine to find you, but it’s certainly much faster than waiting for it to happen on its own.

Webmaster Tools

Once your site is indexed and Bing’s spiders are finding it, you’ll be able to use the Webmaster Tools similar to your Google Analytics tools. Bing offers you a Dashboard that shows you a summary of your visitors and their habits as well as notifications to help you stay on top of alerts for your site.

Making the time to submit your site to Bing is well worth it. It only takes a few minutes, your site will be found by its search engines within days, and you’ll start receiving lots of new visitors.
