Good Content Can Help Increase Blog Traffic

Blog trafficYour website and blog traffic (or the number of visitors) are important because the number of visitors equals the number of opportunities you have to add new customers. So it is important to find ways to drive traffic to your blog on a routine basis.

In a previous post, 7 Smart Ways to Drive Traffic To Your Site, I discussed multiple ways to drive traffic for both new visitors and previous readers.  We also discussed ways to make your blog one people desire to return to in the post, 5 Ways to Make Sure Your Readers Return to Your Blog.   One of the ways is to provide useful content that entices people to come back for more.

A client who does this extremely well is Shea Writing & Training Solutions.  They provide tips that help people with their writing skills.

A recent tip about sentence structure for ESL writers was very interesting.  They focus on the order to structure the sentence so it sounds like we talk.

We are used to the flow and rhythm of our language.  ESL learners have to work at this since it does not come naturally.  The order they use adjectives in their native country is usually much different than the way we use them.

A few of the other tips you might want to use as review are their tips on confusing words and words that sound the same.   They also have tips on email etiquette and checklists.

Shea Writing & Training Solutions has been in business since 1997.  They help companies, engineers and project managers communicate effectively. Their online presence and the tips they provide help just about everyone.

Check out their site and how they use the tips to drive traffic.

Can you think of a way you could do something similar?
