Can Your Customers Hear You?

Celebrate Be Heard Day - Can Your Customers Hear You?

Today, Tuesday, March 7 is Be Heard Day.  Do your customers hear you?

All business owners want to be successful and get their message out.  Sometimes it is hard to compete with bigger companies with lots of dollars to pay for PR.  That is why the Be Heard Day was created in 2004.

How are you and your business being heard online?

How to Celebrate Be Heard Day

A great way to celebrate the day is to make a few minutes to sit down and objectively review your marketing plan.  If you don’t have one you need to make one.   Wondering what type of events you could include?  Check out my friend Sandy Lawrence’s Perceptive PR Post with March Ideas.

Once you have some ideas on paper then make sure you are being creative and planning activities that will make people take notice.  How are you promoting those activities?  Are you using your website and social media?   You should be!

Your website is your voice 24/7/365 to those that don’t know who you are. You should be using it to your advantage.

You should also be connecting with your customers online using your customer’s favorite social media.  Build the relationship and you will find this is another way to connect 24/7/365.  Your customers will learn to like, know and trust you.

Can I Celebrate If I Don’t Have a Business?

Yes!  Use the day to find small businesses in your community that you haven’t visited recently.   Shop and support the small business owners.

Or if you have been thinking about starting a business, this might be a great time to make plans to kick it off.

Either way, Be Heard Day is a great time to make connections, build relationships, and be heard!

One more thing….if you are taking part in Be Heard Day in any way, please post on social media using the hashtag #BeHeard Day to show how you are participating.
