3 Top Blogging Mistakes Beginners Make

Iphotos%2fimages-editing-consistencyt’s never too soon or too late to start a blog. Whether you’re doing this for business or as a way to share your unique interests or expertise with the world, there are a few things you should avoid when it comes to blogging.

Here are the three top blogging mistakes beginners make:

  1. Photos/images – Some new bloggers think it’s okay to just Google an image and use it on their blog. Some people think it’s okay if you credit the original source. It’s never okay to do this unless you have specifically asked permission from the owner of the original photo.
  2. Editing –  Editing is very important. Not only do you want to be sure everything is spelled correctly and grammatically correct, but you also want to fact check and edit for awkward words or phrases.
  3. Consistency – The more you blog, the better you get at it. The more consistent you are with your posts, the easier it will be to build a following of readers.  Consistency is important.  Blogging once a month won’t get you very far.

If you avoid these top three blogging mistakes, you’ll get farther with your blog and find more success in a shorter period of time.
