Have you set up your automatic Facebook Messages? Wondering if you need to bother?
Think back, have you ever messaged someone on Facebook or through Messenger and then wondered if they got it? Are they traveling and just can’t respond or did it not go through? Well now if you have a Facebook page you can set up an automatic message so when clients and customers contact you, they get a message letting them know their message has been received and that you will be handling it. This works whether you are a dentist, online marketing, web designer, or industrial supplier.
A (chat)bot is a computer program that automates and/or simulates conversations with people. It’s meant to make communication with readers/ followers/customers quicker and easier. Now if you are a page owner, you can set up a quick bot to respond to messages immediately.
You can set up an away message similar to this, “I’m away from my computer but will get back to you shortly.” Or a thanks for contacting us message such as, “Thank you for contacting us, we value your business. I will respond within a few hours.” You get the idea. It immediately responds letting them know their message was received and you will get back to them. Great way to build relationships with your customers.
So how do you set this up?
3. Decide which type of message you desire.
4. Click Yes to turn it on
5. If you want to change the message, simply click the Change button.
To make new customers feel welcome, you can set up a Messenger Greeting
Just let them know their message was received and you will be responding.
