I was sitting on the edge of my chair, holding my breath and not believing what I had just witnessed!
How about that football game? Did you watch it? Talk about a nail-biter!
Both teams had amazing moments and the half-time show was entertaining. A great night for football. No matter which team you were rooting for, Superbowl 2017 is one for the history books!
Both teams are considered winners! But only one takes home the trophy. But the big winners for the evening were the advertisers.
Quite a few people who don’t care for football, watch the Superbowl just for the advertisements. How about you?
As advertising has become more and more of a big thing with the Superbowl, they have started running them from YouTube and sharing on social media the week before the event.
While this takes some of the surprise out of watching the Superbowl, it does give the various sponsors more bang for their buck.
My favorite advertisement from this year’s Superbowl was the Kia ad with Melissa McCarthy. I liked how they used a celebrity plus the environmental friendly aspect of their car. The ad made me chuckle. Did you watch? Check it out below.
Another interesting tidbit about the advertisements, over $15M was spent advertising online marketing and web design. Go Daddy, Wix.com, and Square Space all had ads. I liked the Square Space ad.
